About

A few things about me:

  • By day, I’m a Senior DevOps Engineer working for the leader in Cyber Security and who’s mission is to relentlessly protect its customers from the impact and consequences of cyber attacks. I hold degrees in Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems and Decision Sciences.
  • By night, I spent time working on hobby electronics projects and I keep a few servers safe and secure for a good friend of mine.
  • I’ve lived and worked in some amazing and beautiful places: Montreal, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Connecticut (Greenwich/Stamford area), Austin, Tampa Bay, Dallas and Philadelphia to name a few. I now call the Northern Virginia area home.
  • I have ~25 years of experience in IT, Application Development, Technical Architecture and Engineering.
  • I grew up in Montreal, Canada, so I speak fluent French and I love Poutine.

I blog primarily about electronics projects that I’m working on.  Expect to see posts about microcontrollers (mostly AVR), Arduino, circuits, DIY projects, and other related stuff. Additionally, I am now getting interested in vintage computers and restoration, mostly equipment from my youth in the 80’s and 90’s. Most of the projects featured here were born in my lab, but occasionally I will post about cool things I come across that interest me.
